Facebook Design D.I.V.A.S "Oldies But Goodies" Blog Hop!

Good morning, and welcome to the Facebook Design D.I.V.A.S "Oldies But Goodies" Blog Hop!!! You should have arrived here from Julie Crossley's creative-alicious blog. If you didn't and arrived here first, then you will want to head on over to the start of the hop at Sue Morris' marvelously magnificent blog. We hope to have loads of fun and inspiration to share with all of you, our crafty friends, every third Wednesday of the month (so keep your eyes open for the next FB Design D.I.V.A.S hoppity hop). For January, we are celebrating the "oldies but goodies" that most (if not all) of us crafters have stashed away. For me, I have plenty of stamps, papers, embellies, etc. that I simply "needed" to have when I saw them...unfortunately, these goodies were never used once they found their way into my craft room. I know...insert shocked face here!!! Oh the shame and the scandal...just don't tell my hubby;o) So this month, we are taking out these poor, neglected items, showing them some much needed love and putting them to good use!

For my card, EVERYTHING has been tucked away for over six months:( I hate to say it, but I have loads of stamps that have yet to see a lick of ink (some a few years old), and this precious Aurora stamp is one of them. Hanging my head in shame... This sweetie is called A Ladybug is Love and was created by Victoria Case for SCACD Stamp Company. The designer paper is also mondo old...it is the Cute World Collection from Best Occasions. I found it on clearance at Wally World about two years ago. Honestly, when it comes to pretty papers, I stockpile them...they just seem too pretty to cut. KWIM? Please tell me you do! And that little, ladybug button...it's been "hiding" in my stash for so long, I don't even know where that cutie even came from:}If I don't watch out, you'll be seeing me on the next episode of A&E's Hoarders...and I dare any of 'em to tell me to trash my treasures;o) So to prevent that ugliness from happening, my resolution for 2011 is to use all the fun goodies I have instead of buying more to simply look at and pet from time to time;) Let's see how many months that will work...

Okay...enough from me! Your next stop on this FUNtabulous hop is the luvlee Lee Murphy's incredibly inspiring blog!! We thank all of you for hopping along with us on this wonderfully blessed Wednesday!!! Have an awesome day and hope you find some time to play with the Oldies But Goodies you have stashed away:o)
